Nick is building his Mini Vee in Sydney, Australia.

Here he is laying out the parts on plywood. The bending batten finds the gentle curve of the Mini Vee's deck.

Nick plans to enter his boat in the Hawkesbury Bridge to Bridge Race in May, 2011. That's a 110 km (70 mile) non-stop race on the Hawkesbury River in New South Wales, Australia.

He is also considering racing in the Australia's 25hp class.
